What We Believe

We believe the Bible (Old and New Testament) is God’s Word to humanity. All 66 books of the Bible are accurate without any error, and are applicable to our everyday lives. The Word of God is our daily bread, and is our ultimate guide for life on earth.

We believe in prayer and fasting, and to go to God first about everything. Prayer is a powerful way to communicate to God, and for Him to speak to us. Fasting is a form of sacrifice, by giving up our fleshly desires to be in His presence and seek wisdom.

We believe there is only one true God. Our creator and Heavenly Father, who is perfect, holy, loving, merciful, and just in all things. God is eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, who was born of the virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. He came down to earth to die on the cross, and save us from our sins. Three days later, He rose again to show God’s divine power. He ascended into Heaven and is alive in the presence of God today.

We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to guide our steps as followers of Christ. The Holy Spirit lives within our hearts to empower us, convict us of our sins, comfort us, and to discern God’s will in order to be more like Jesus.

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, but fell into sin from the very beginning of time. The only way to salvation is through the blood of Jesus Christ, by believing in Him and taking up our cross daily.

We believe in both heaven and hell, and our eternity is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ/ or (how our lives are aligned with God’s Word)

We believe the church is the body of Christ. A community of baptized believers, who obey all of God’s commands, while spreading the Gospel together in unity and love.

We believe Jesus will return one day as His Word has promised, but until then we were created to live a life that honors Him, while building up the kingdom of Heaven.
